Leon Haynes

Leon Haynes is a British music executive, specialising in A&R (artists & repertoire), artist development and music business development.

After launching his career in the music industry as a recording artist, songwriter and music producer, Leon progressed into talent, label and event management, which eventually led to creative roles in marketing and A&R for record labels.

Alongside artistic endeavours and executive roles, Leon has founded various independent businesses, including an independent record label (Rapier Records), an online department store (Rapier Shop), an online ladies’ fashion retailer (TOPS:TOES) and an events marketing company (Rapier Concepts).

He continues to diversify his career into film and TV acting, auditioning and appearing in commercials and feature films starring actors such as Samuel L Jackson, Brad Pitt and Rebecca Hall, to name a few, he has also worked in the past as a commercial model and event host.

Artistic roots, combined with extensive experience in the corporate world, have provided Leon with a unique all-round perspective on both the art form and the business of music, making him an ideal advocate for artists and a champion of creative expression.

Leon has a passion for many aspects of music, movies and business entrepreneurship, including songwriting and production, soundtracks and scores, marketing and the ability to come up with new and innovative ideas to solve problems and drive progress.
